2017 Easter Egg Hunts Washington DC
Now that St. Patrick’s Day is over, it’s time to start looking ahead to the Easter season. And, what better way is there to celebrate than by checking out a 2017 Easter egg hunt with your kids? To help you do so, and to save you some time, we’ve put together a few picks for egg hunts we suggest checking out in the Washington DC area. Top Easter Egg Hunts Near the DC Area
The 18th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Lee-Fendall House is taking place April 14 – 16 in Alexandria. In addition to the hundreds of eggs kids will be able to search for, children who attend will also be able to enjoy photos with the Easter Bunny, games, prizes, a sticker station and much more.
Ticonderoga Farm in Chantilly VA is a great place to visit, especially during the spring season. Their Spring Festival takes place March 25 – April 23 and includes weekend Easter egg hunts at 11 am and 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition to the egg hunt, children can enjoy an Easter Bunny meet and greet, giant slide hills, jumping pillows, hayrides, animal feeding and more.
Each year, Eggstravaganza events take place all over the DC and NoVA areas, making it easy to find one that is near you and offers the fun you’re looking for. Eggstravaganza is sponsored by the National Community Church with events at Garrison Elementary, Langdon Park and Capitol Hill-Lincoln Park in Washington DC, as well as events in Springfield VA, Gainesville VA and Alexandria VA.
