Imagine getting your Amazon packages delivered right to your car. Rather than leaving the box on your porch for anyone to come by and steal, it will be safe in the back of your vehicle. With the Key by Amazon feature, this process works for any Acura RDX from the 2019 model year or newer.

Key by Amazon is a service that allows Amazon Prime members to get Amazon packages delivered to their vehicle. The customer must have Amazon Prime, a compatible Acura, and an active trial or subscription for the AcuraLink Remote Package.

For those that qualify, you will have the option to pick in-car delivery when you check-out. On delivery day, you will need your vehicle parked in an accessible location within two blocks of the address you provided. There will be a four-hour time-window that the Amazon delivery driver will stop by to drop it off. An encrypted process will verify that the driver has reached the correct vehicle with your package and unlocks it for the driver. After the package is in the vehicle, the driver will request Amazon to relock it. Like a typical Amazon delivery, you will get a notification when your package is dropped off. You will also get notifications for when it is delivery day and when the package is arriving.
