Pumpkin Patches in the Washington DC Area

Adults and kids alike love taking home pumpkins to decorate their home with at this time of year. Being able to pick your own pumpkin only adds to the fun! Here are two pumpkin patches in the Washington DC area for the entire family to enjoy.

Whitehall Farm

A relaxing retreat for any family looking to spend some time together on the weekend, Whitehall Farm offers a variety of activities. Ride the wagon to the pumpkin patch, get lost in the corn maze, play games, bounce in the bounce house, and much more! Whitehall Farm is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm through the rest of October. Admission is $12 for adults and all children over three years old. Krop’s Crops

Looking for pumpkins and great food? Visit Krop’s Crops in Great Falls, VA! Take a hayride to the pumpkin patch for only $4 a person. Kids three years old and younger will ride for free. Hayrides are open only on the weekends, so be sure to set a day aside for a visit! If you prefer to not ride to the pumpkin patch, you can buy a pumpkin right in the shop. Along with pumpkins, a variety of fresh foods will be available for purchase. Take home Winchester apples and taste fresh-pressed apple cider. If you are looking for fall decorations for your home, a variety of harvest and Halloween decorations will be sold at the shop. Krop’s Crops will be open for the rest of October.
