Performance
Once you activate the ignition on the TLX A-Spec, its 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine rumbles to life. This powertrain produces up to 272 horsepower1 and 280 lb.-ft. of torque as you cruise across I-395, with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters allowing you to manipulate a 10-speed automatic transmission for a more tactile driving experience. There’s no need to worry when a sudden rain shower disrupts your Washington, DC commute, either, as the SH-AWD® system provides assured all-weather traction in addition to dry-road agility. All of this power and capability is complemented by a smooth ride, thanks to a double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension.
Interior
The 2025 Acura TLX A-Spec includes a wide number of upgrades to an already luxurious interior, including Ultrasuede® upholstery with contrast stitching and piping. The front seats on this trim also feature a ventilation function, allowing you to cool off after spending a summer day hiking at Fort Dupont Park. This trim also gains a more sporty aesthetic, beginning with a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel. Other surfaces are appointed with a geometric-patterned brushed aluminum trim, which is both durable and attractive. One last element that’s introduced with the A-Spec is a distinguished ebony headliner. It also retains the practical benefits that come with every TLX, including 13.5 cu. ft. of cargo volume2 and 42.5 inches of legroom.
Audio & Connectivity
This car is a veritable concert hall, with the 17-speaker ELS Studio 3D® Premium Audio System providing a lush listening experience. This is a significant upgrade to the base trim level’s 13-speaker system, as it adds four ceiling-mounted speakers to deliver true surround sound. The Acura TLX A-Spec remains outfitted with the standard array of connectivity features as well, such as wireless Apple CarPlay®3 and Android Auto™4 compatibility. This makes it easy to access your favorite playlists or podcasts on the 12.3-in Dual-Content Center Display, especially when you take advantage of the intuitive True Touchpad Interface™ to breeze through its menus.
